Healthy Meals

Daisy Chain provides a hot meal and breakfast for all full time children in our care, which is supplied by a specialist caterer. 

They provide a pre-cooked meal, which is delivered to our nurserys. These meals are prepared and cooked in a dedicated Health Board registered facility. 

The process is dedicated to following the HACCP food safety system. Their emphasis is on providing high nutrition, wholesome meals with as much variety as possible to give a balanced diet and encourage the development of a broad range of tastes. 

Parents must supply a small nutritious snack. Although there is no cooking involved in our Nursery’s we are still aware of the HACCP system which is a preventative system used by food businesses to identify steps critical to ensure food safety, so it is important that all food brought into our Nursery is inspected in the appropriate manner.
